In April a group of our members enjoyed a relaxing and informative Trust Travellers visit to Charterhouse, Coventry's National Trust attraction. The volunteer guides were able to entertainingly interpret some of the finest examples of medieval and renaissance art in England and bring to life the activities of its historic occupants. And as a bonus we were able to enjoy a sunny stroll in the walled garden and the surrounding grounds, followed by a tasty snack in the tea rooms.
Thank you to member Peter J, who volunteers at this former monastic house, for organising the event at this recent addition to the list of NT properties.
