If you fancy meeting up with your u3a friends while getting some fresh air and perhaps even taking some gentle exercise, then come along to our Coffee in the Park meet-up. We are recommencing this popular group on Wednesday 10th June at Caludon Castle Park, after a hiatus. Just come along at 11.00am with a folding chair (or a rug) and your flask of coffee (or whatever beverage appeals). If you wish to stroll around the park first, we suggest that you arrive at 10.30am. The car park is accessed via Farren Road, but if you are on foot or travelling by bus there is a gate by the junction of Belgrave Road and Westmorland Road, near Wyken Community Centre. You don't need to sign up in advance for this informal activity.

This event is dependent on favourable weather. We can cope with it being cloudy, but who wants to sit in the rain drinking coffee? Certainly not me!
